Hengtong has become the first provider in China to successfully deliver the 220kV 3000sqmm section XLPE insulation smooth AL sheath cable project! Facing challenges in this project, Hengtong's talented engineers conducted in-depth research and tailored a new underground cable system solution for high-voltage power transmission. Validated by various tests and international application cases, this solution can further enhance the safety and stability of power grid lines, and better guarantee electricity services for industrial production and urban life. Early this year, Hengtong also delivered SAS cable to Mexico. Hengtong's newest listed company MGL New Material has formally passed the audit of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and obtained the certificate of laboratory accreditation, which indicates the testing capability of this R&D lab has been formally recognized by more than 150 countries and territories under the global ILAC framework.  Following this achievement, Hengtong's CNAS-accredited labs have increased to 7. We believe R&D as our core strength can help to enlighten the future and make a better connected world. 

Hengtong is privileged to be honored as a “China’s Top Runner for Industrial Carbon Peaking” by China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE). The prizing came as result of measuring green and low-carbon related indicators such as transformation capacities, R&D capacities, achievements, technologies, products and solutions. 42 “Runners” emerged out of 280 in the end. At Hengtong Group, who pledges to achieve Carbon Peaking by 2028, we believe it is our responsibility to take part in creating a greener future for everyone.

Hengtong worked against time and supported the flood-devastated areas with telecommunication products! The recent typhoon Doksuri caused disastrous damage to some of the cities in North China’s Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. People’s communications were significantly impaired. Hengtong worked around clock to produce relief supplies and drove all the way to the flood-hit areas, helping the communications get back to normal.

Hengtong attended and exhibited at the Energy Next 2023 tradeshow, held in Sydney at the ICC on the 18th and 19th July.
